Created, designed, and animated by Andrew Foerster (Rewfoe), Tin Canyon follows three well-meaning bluegrass musicians who must overcome their debilitating stage fright to unleash their talent on the world.

Foerster initially created Tin Canyon as a multimedia stage show with projected visuals, live music and storytelling, and a hanging sculptural collage element that depicted the settings and characters.

I adapted his original story, which was over an hour long, into a 10-minute script that shaped the story and relayed it in the form of a rhyming ballad.

The film was produced by Together and Rewfoe, and features the bluegrass-inspired sounds of Juno Award-winning banjoist and composer, Jayme Stone.

Tin Canyon premiered January 2014 as part of Come Up To My Room 11 at The Gladstone Hotel.
